GENERATOR MAINTENANCE PLAN AGREEMENT

Your Generac Home Standby Generator keeps the power flowing to the entire house or critical systems depending on your set up. Generators require routine maintenance, like an oil change on your car or any other ICE (internal combustion engine) and checking all electronic components. Our maintenance plans include 24/7 monitoring and will help keep your generator in peak condition for a longer service life. The monitoring will provide you the peace of mind that when the power goes out, your home standby generator will be ready. Servicing by a certified Generac technician is also required to maintain the manufacturer’s warranty and our technicians are certified.

As part of our Fleet, we will have the additional ability to remotely manage your generator. This includes the ability to edit the generator settings, receive notifications and view your maintenance schedule, event history, fuel level, etc. The customer is responsible for the Wi-Fi connection in their home. Older Generac models without built in Wi-Fi capabilities or those not having a strong enough Wi-Fi signal to reach their unit, can still have remote monitoring by purchasing the LTE device. The cost of the LTE is a one time purchase and will allow the customer to have monitoring capabilities with or without the maintenance contract. LTE Cell phone transponder are required for propane tanks and propane monitory is included in the gold plan.

**Warranty Services for non-maintenance customers are subject to the above fees. All Generac warranty reimbursements will be forwarded to the customer. Hourly rate begins as technician leaves facility and ends at the completion of task on site, no travel time charged for technician return.

All Warranty Work during business hours including travel and labor are included in Maintenance plan fees. For maintenance participants, labor and parts are only charged if warranty not covered by Generac.
